I had a good day's work today.
Something that had been requested and planned for a few weeks could finally be carried out and resulted in a great experience for our customers and much better results for my employees.
Everything went well and I was very positive about the progress I had made at the beginning of the new year when a network crashed at one of my locations and half of my team was unable to do its work for about 30 minutes.
I took a deep breath and called a few times to inform important people and to inform the other websites about what was happening.
One of my boys said: "I knew that would happen. Everything went so well that something bad had to happen. "
I shook my head and corrected it.
The two have nothing to do with each other.
When something good happens, we don't have to look over our shoulders and wait for the inevitable breakdown.
Just enjoy the moment.
Celebrate the good.
Think about the actions that helped get you there.
And if something bad happens, that's fine.
Deal with it.
Solve it.
Be calm and methodical in your approach.
But don't miss the positive aspects.
