The Physiopedia app has been expanded to include new and exciting functions that make access to CPD even easier on the go. New additions transform your commuting with the help of the narration function with which the app reads the content to you! In addition, sharing pages is easier by adding a share button and QR codes.
The Physiopedia app is free and always has all articles from Physiopedia that have been optimized for mobile devices at hand. The app is free, but there is an optional, but rewarding, inexpensive monthly subscription that allows you to add unlimited items to your personal favorites list within the app. These bookmarked items are just a tap away and are also downloaded for offline viewing. Ideal for the busy clinical environment where time is tight and internet access cannot be guaranteed.
Great free features include "Article of the Day", where you can read a new, exciting, high quality page every day. Perfect for a small dose of CPD or great for that inspiring spark when you're on the go or waiting for patients to arrive.
The Premium Update
The new updates are for premium members and contain some extremely useful additions such as:
Play symbol – tells the article text – ideal to use your commuting as an opportunity to get a quick CPD
Share Icon – Displays the iOS share field to share the article URL via social media, email, etc.
QR Code Icon – Displays a QR code that shares the item URL that can be scanned by other device cameras
Settings page that can be accessed from the app menu – Allows you to select the narration voice and narration speed used.
