It is humble to lose your job and then have to apply for less work that is far below your usual salary or skill level.
It is humble to have to rely on the government to make decisions that will significantly affect your finances over the next six months.
It is humble to have to restrict your normal social activities in the interest of public health.
It's humble not to be in control just when you thought your future was well planned.
But it's okay to be humble.
To understand that life is not always our best plan.
To recognize that there is a big, wide world out there that does not dissolve around us and our perceived needs.
But please do not forget in your newly discovered humility:
