Hello friends! I'm happy to announce that the Dalai Lama has released his first musical offering, an 11-track album of mantras and teachings, and I have five free CD sets to give away to the Tiny Buddha community!
The CD set was recently released on my birthday, August 28th, after a July 6th release on digital platforms in honor of the Dalai Lama's 85th birthday. When it was released digitally, Inner World debuted at number 1 on Billboard's New Age Albums chart.
The set contains 2 CDs in a beautiful, case-bound hardcover package as well as a 28-page brochure with breathtaking works of art and explanations of the mantras and their benefits.
CD 1 is the Inner World standard album, while CD 2 contains a CD with album instruments.

About the inner world
The origins of Inner World began in 2015 when one of the co-executive producers of the project and a longtime student of the Dalai Lama, Junelle Kunin, asked him to participate. She felt that an album by such a compassionate and wise being would help people struggling with emotional stress. And he agreed.
She and her husband Abraham Kunin worked as a small team for the next five years to bring the project to life.
The recordings of the Dalai Lama were threaded through music by Abraham and performed by him and a group of employees from all over the world on over thirty instruments. The composer integrated the live performances into elaborate programming and production and formed a peaceful foundation for these sacred offerings.
The net proceeds from the sale of the Inner World will go to the Gaden Phodrang Foundation of the Dalai Lama, selected program: Social, emotional and ethical learning an international K-12 education program.
