Though life is much less busy for many these days, I suspect that many of us are incredibly busy given the uncertainty we face.

It's easy to get into worst-case and what-if scenarios and try to create a sense of control in a world where we have very little.

I know because I've done this many times. I locked myself in a corner of my head, filled my internal whiteboard with every possible combination of results, and was obsessed with how to avoid potential pain – ironically, what causes me immense pain.

To some extent, planning ahead can be helpful. It gives us an opportunity to prepare for the worst and find out how we can do our best to overcome it. But at some point it gets crazy.

It is natural to have worrying thoughts – they arise without our conscious decision. But we can consciously choose how to deal with them instead of turning them into a tornado of fear that will surely destroy our peace and possibly our health.

That's why I created Tiny Buddha's Worry Journal a few years ago: to help all of us process the fearful thoughts that would otherwise consume and control us.

By writing prompts, quotes, thinking, coloring, and scribbling pages, the Worry Journal can help you feel calmer, less anxious, and more present in your life.

It is a tool that allows you to reflect and then let go as you broaden your perspective and develop confidence in your own ability to deal with everything that comes.

I think we all need that now – a reminder that we are stronger than we think and more inventive than we think. And that's why I'm giving away three free copies of Tiny Buddha's Worry Journal.
