On February 24th, the project Learning, Doing and Building for Rehabilitation in Health Systems (ReLAB-HS) was officially started. The speakers and partners involved in the Lauch emphasized the need to integrate rehabilitation into health systems in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and universal health insurance.

The role of Physiopedia as part of the ReLAB-HS consortium focuses on the development of the workforce. Our activities focus on coordinating with relevant stakeholders to share knowledge, practices and resources across a range of digital platforms that provide online teaching, learning, mentoring and networking.

These platforms will be innovative, accessible and inclusive so that they can be adopted by all rehabilitation professionals. By integrating them with all of ReLAB-HS's other
digital activities, including telerehabilitation and knowledge management, this will create a central digital hub for the global rehabilitation profession.

In addition to the digital platforms, tools and resources are created to facilitate the practicality of personnel development. This includes the development of an internationally relevant rehabilitation curriculum that can be adopted by stakeholders and adapted to their occupation or geographic and economic context. Online accredited course content that is assigned to this curriculum is created in cooperation with international topic specialists and made available to all participants for integration into their own teaching activities.

Resources and support will be provided to facilitate the uptake of the curriculum by clinics and educators through the effective use of blended learning as a commercially efficient human resource development strategy.
